Over the Wall 2018
With our residential weekends being in such high demand, we want to keep our community up to date with any opportunities that can help to make sure that the children and young people in the CLAPA Community have the chance to enjoy these kinds of experiences, even when there aren’t CLAPA-run residential weekends coming up in their local area.
Over the Wall Camps provide fun, inclusive experiences for children with serious health problems in the UK. Similarly to CLAPA’s residential weekends, they offer the chance for children to meet peers, make new friends, and enjoy themselves outside of a clinical environment.
Unlike CLAPA’s weekends, Over the Wall Camps are not cleft-exclusive, but the organisers have told the team at CLAPA that children with a cleft would be very welcome, even if they do not have additional health conditions.
