For our very first #FundraisingFriday post we’d love to introduce you to Emma who will be running the London Marathon this April and twins Annabel and Jessica, aged five, who are already budding fundraising entrepreneurs.

West Midlands Branch Christmas Party!
Santa came to the West Midlands! A fabulous Christmas party was organised by the West Midlands Branch on 13th December. Over 100 people enjoyed face painting, soft play, Christmas games and of course a visit from Santa!

Patient Reps Sought for NHS Group
The NHS is setting up a group to look at how specialised services (like cleft lip and palate) can be commissioned locally and centrally, and they are looking for patient reps to add their voices. Deadline: 8th February.

Sandra’s Story
Sandra was born with a cleft lip in the 60s, and in 2014 underwent major surgery which included a septoplasty, rhinoplasty, an alveolar bone graft and a lip revision.

We are Lauren and Kristin, two recently qualified Speech and Language Therapists from City University London who have made the decision to fly to Cambodia for 3 months and work with children with cleft lip and palate in various hospitals around the city of Phnom Penh.
