Carol £5,000 Cheque
Dr. Neil Gerrard has been recognised with numerous awards over his twenty-four years as a Dentist, and now he has written a book entitled ‘There Is No Perfect Dentist’. Dr Gerrard very kindly donated a portion of the royalties from the book to CLAPA in aid of our work.
Our Patron Carol Vorderman, her mother Jean, and local cleft surgeon Nigel Mercer attended an event on Friday 1st February to be presented with a cheque for £5,000.
We’re absolutely thrilled to receive such a generous donation from Dr. Gerrard, especially as Carol Vorderman was able to give a brief talk at the event to personally thank him for his contribution and to explain the role that CLAPA plays in the lives of all those in the UK affected by cleft.
