Face-to-Face Family Day in Scotland
Face-to-Face Family Day in Scotland
CLAPA is teaming up with three other charities to bring you this fun-filled Family Day, funded by the VTCT Foundation. Originally planned in 2020, we’re delighted to announce a new date of Saturday, 25th March 2023.
Join us to take over Willowgate Activity Centre in Perthshire, just three miles from Perth Train Station. The event is open to children or adults born with a cleft and their families. It’s a great opportunity to come along and meet other families affected by cleft and other craniofacial conditions.
The Activity Centre has both land-based and water-based activities, including paddleboarding, archery, raft building, orienteering, water zorbs, and axe throwing, as well as some team games for all ages and bushcraft for younger ones.
We are delighted to have this opportunity to see you in person and look forward to a great day out. Please remember this is Scotland, and the activities are outdoors, so be prepared for all weather – sun, rain, wind, or snow!
You will need swimsuits to wear under wetsuits for water-based activities, a towel, and shoes for the water, e.g., old trainers. Waterproofs or a change of clothes is also advisable.
Fuller details will be sent closer to the time. To register you and your family for a place, please click the link here:
