#FundraisingFriday – Calum
This #FundraisingFriday we want to say a huge thank you and congratulations to Calum Beach, an 11 year old motorbike racer! Calum took on the Donnington 500 on the 13th of August to raise money and awareness for CLAPA!
“We decided to help raise money for CLAPA at this race event, as we as a family wanted to give something back to a very worthwhile charity.
Calum was born with a cleft palate and lip and throughout his development which included several operations we have been aware of the amazing work the CLAPA community does for the kids.
We believe Calum has grown stronger during early years due to the operations etc and has helped him develop his passion for racing motorcycles and given him a determination to succeed where others may not.
We hope the money raised helps and would hope to do more events in the future.”
Calum is only 11 years old, but got three podiums, and raised an amazing £612.25!
