#FundraisingFriday – East Sussex Masters Lodge
Worshipful Brother (W Bro) Trevor Newman Worshipful Master of East Sussex Masters Lodge (left) accompanied by W Bro Peter Baker the Lodge Charity Steward (right) met Cretia Edwards the Sussex representative of CLAPA.
Cretia was accompanied by her son Jacob (13) who has a Cleft Lip and Palate and her daughter Kayleigh (10).
The Lodge cheque for £600 together with a match funded cheque from the Sussex Masonic Charities Committee for £600 were presented to Jacob and Kayleigh.
The cheques were gratefully received and Cretia said the money will be of enormous benefit to provide funding for the planning and organising of family events in Sussex to provide an opportunity for families affected by cleft to meet each other, share experiences and build a social network.
