#FundraisingFriday: Kyle’s Fundraising Story
Kyle decided to fundraise for CLAPA following the birth of his son. After reaching out to our Fundraising team, he decided to raise funds by selling CLAPA merchandise, and raised a fantastic £230 for CLAPA. Here he explains why supporting CLAPA means so much to him and his family.
CLAPA have helped me and my family through a tough time in our lives.
From Day 1 of finding out, at my partners 20 week scan, that our son had a cleft lip and possible pallet, CLAPA have been there to guide and support us through the unknown. As a family we could not thank the CLAPA team enough. That’s why I decided, once my beautiful son was born, that it was time to give something back.
I reached out to the CLAPA Fundraising team and asked if they would send me some CLAPA bands and badges, for me to sell to friends, family, and work colleagues. I would like to thank every single person who bought a band or a badge and helped us raise an amazing total of £230 to support CLAPA’s work.
CLAPA will always be a charity that is close to our hearts and we will continue to support and raise awareness. Thank You CLAPA, for all your hard work. We couldn’t have got through it without you.
