The Community’s Role in Research
Communities like CLAPA play a vital role in putting together relevant, well-informed research projects. Involving people affected by cleft in research about cleft helps to make sure the right things are researched in the right way.
Our Children and Young People’s Council are especially in demand by researchers and have made the most of their unique perspective throughout the years to give their input on everything from leaflets to websites to entire research projects.
For the Appearance Matters 7 Conference taking place in London this week, we’ve put together this special video to showcase the fantastic work they do with CLAPA.
Please help us spread the word this week by sharing the video far and wide!
