Tractor Run Raises £4219.00 (including Gift Aid) for CLAPA
This fundraising Friday, we celebrate Ully and her family, who decided to raise money for CLAPA with a unique festive tractor run!
Ully’s grandson Reece was born with a cleft lip, bilateral palate, and gum notch and has currently undergone two repair surgeries.
They wanted to share festive cheer by holding a tractor run in Warwickshire with 30 decorated Tractors traveling 32 miles and visiting towns and villages.
Volunteers joined them in every location with collection buckets, and local people and companies held a raffle, donated a hog roast, and supplied tractors.
Ully and the volunteers did a fabulous job promoting the event on social media, creating posters, setting up a Just Giving page, and being interviewed on the radio and by the local newspaper.
They were greeted by many people along the route who braved the cold weather to show their support.
Ully told us, ‘It also gave me a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness for CLAPA and why I’m so passionate about this Charity. Wheels are already in motion for next year’s Charity Christmas Tractor Run, which will be bigger and better.’
Thank you, and well done for raising £4219.00 (including Gift Aid) for CLAPA; we can’t wait to see next year’s event! Find out how you can start fundraising for CLAPA today.
