The news that our unborn child had a cleft lip and possibly a cleft palate was the scariest day of our pregnancy. We had no idea what it would mean for Charlie once he arrived in the world and the huge hurdles that might lie ahead.

It was a tough challenge, but we made it; it would have been so much harder without Kenny riding alongside me to keep me going. We want to thank everyone who donated and helped and Floyd for being our marshal and keeping us safe. We raised a fantastic amount and still have a few donations to collect.

Laura and Mark’s Cycle for CLAPA
Laura and Mark wanted to do something for their godsons, Isaac and Jacob, who were both born with a cleft. The couple decided to put their leisurely lockdown bike rides to the test with a huge 362km cycle ride challenge, raising an incredible £3,045 for CLAPA in the process! We caught up with them to say a huge thank you and to find out more.
