Smile Train and CLAPA Join Forces to Strengthen Cleft Care in the UK
25 April 2024: Smile Train, the world's leading cleft charity, and the Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA), the UK’s national charity helping people with a cleft, announce new support to expand cleft care services across the United Kingdom, enabling further provision towards cleft awareness, education, and networking programmes.

Nomination from Community Funds CLAPA Welcome Packs
A nomination from an employee of Croda International who was born with a cleft has helped to secure CLAPA a grant of nearly £30k to fund Welcome Packs of special bottles and teats for new families around the UK.

Adult Services Secured with VTCT Grant
CLAPA is thrilled to announce we have received a grant from the VTCT Foundation to fund an Adult Support Programme which will take place over the next three years.

CLAPA receives funding from the Schuh Trust
We’ve received £9,934 from the Schuh Trust for our work in the Central region
