CLAPA’S Regional Coordinator Project – End of Year 2 Report
CLAPA's Regional Coordinators Project aims to employ nine Regional Coordinators throughout the UK to provide local support services for families, young people and adults affected by cleft lip and palate. As this project is funded by the Big Lottery Fund, it is being independently evaluated by the Centre for Appearance Research (CAR) who produce annual reports in November.

Information on Special Education Needs
In April 2013, the government changed the way that funding is provided to schools. This did not change the responsibilities schools and local authorities have towards children with special educational needs (SEN), just the ways in which this will be dealt with. Changes to the way special educational provision is provided will be implemented in September 2014 and will be phased in gradually.

Catch Carol’s Christmas Catchphrase For CLAPA!
Once again the lovely Carol Vorderman will be trying to win some cash for CLAPA over the festive season. Carol will appear on ITV1's "Celebrity Catchphrase" Christmas special on the 29th December at 7 pm. Fingers crossed she will get lucky!

CLAPA Ambassador Joins ‘The One Show’ Rickshaw Challenge For BBC Children In Need
Sixteen year old Eleanor Pedrick from Upminster in Essex has been selected as one of the riders for The One Show's Rickshaw Challenge; a seven hundred mile journey across the UK to raise money for BBC Children in Need.

CLAPA Fundraiser Nominated For a YOPEY
Since the age of 9, Jaimee Tuck (15) has gone above and beyond to raise money and awareness for CLAPA. Jaimee’s younger sister, Molly (7) was born with a cleft palate. Molly’s cleft was diagnosed two days after birth, and the family were soon put in contact with CLAPA.
