How Your Money Makes a Difference

Every donation to CLAPA helps transform the lives of children born with a cleft and their families. From the moment of diagnosis through every stage of treatment and beyond, CLAPA is there. Read Bronwen’s story to see how your money makes a difference.

Your impact

  • £15

could pay for a ‘Cleft Youth’ magazine to be sent to three young people born with a cleft.

  • £50

could pay for a Welcome Pack of special bottles and teats for a new family.

  • £90

could pay for an adult or parent in need to have counselling sessions

  • £315

could pay for the delivery of a baby signing course for new parents to improve communication with their babies.

  • £675

could play for a young person affected by cleft to attend a confidence-building Camp CLAPA event.

I cannot express enough how much CLAPA has positively affected our life. The support from the Cleft Nurse when our daughter was a baby was amazing and much needed, but the community support we receive from CLAPA continues to be an important part in our lives as our daughter grows up.
