Doctors and scientists based at Great Ormond Street Hospital, University College London and the Wellcome Sanger Institute near Cambridge are planning research into new genetic causes of cleft.
They are looking for adults born with a cleft or parents/carers of a child born with a cleft to complete this survey.
This is to ensure:
- The team are researching the right areas to help families
- Help them prioritise future research
- Support with directing the next part of their research to make sure they are researching areas important to the cleft community
