On this page, you can find a list of non-CLAPA support groups which meet online or in person across the UK. These allow people affected by cleft to be able to get together in-person, share experiences and support each other.
These groups are not run by or affiliated with CLAPA, so please be aware that if you choose to attend one of these groups or get in touch with the organisers, you do so at your own risk. CLAPA has no control over these groups and cannot take any responsibility for the running of events or issues you may encounter.
Please take care when meeting new people or sharing personal details. It’s a good idea to meet for the first time in a public place and let a friend or family member know your plans. When attending in person events, you should only need to share what you’re comfortable with.

About Group
The Cleft Society is for any 18-25 year olds who are affected directly by cleft! In the group we aim to connect people from around the UK with the same experiences of growing up and living with a cleft. This group is very light hearted and causal, that means when we meet up we aim to have fun, party and socialise.
Monthly pub crawls, daytime activities and lots more. Through the Instagram page you can join an exclusive group chat where all of these events are planned.
