Open to adults born with a cleft, parents, carers and grandparents of children born with a cleft.

Saturday 14th November 2026 at CLAPA’s Office (244-254 Cambridge Heath Road, London, E2 9DA)

It’s not often we can come together in person as a whole community to share experiences, knowledge and skills and plan for what comes next. Join us on Saturday 14th November 2026 from 9.30am to 4pm, at our office in East London, for an interactive day of connection, planning and building together. Whether you’re new to CLAPA or have been part of our community for years, this day is all about us and our thoughts, visions and practical ideas for CLAPA services and how we support each other. Everyone will have a chance to lead, get involved, share a meal and participate throughout the day, so that all the different experiences of cleft are represented.

The future of cleft will be different for different people and communities across the UK. On the day we’d love to make sure people from all the different backgrounds, cultures and lifestyles feel welcome and able to share in ways that feel comfortable to them. To help us do that, we’ll ask a few optional questions to understand a little about your identity and your community to make sure that diversity is there on the day. If you want to read more, our EDI policy is available here.
